We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your information. This policy explains which data this website processes and why.

At a glance

Analytics only with consent

Google Analytics is the only service here that sets cookies, and it runs only if you accept it.

No visitor profiles

We don't build profiles of the people who visit this website. Analytics runs only with your consent, and chat conversations are kept only so our engineers can follow up.

01Who is responsible

02Hosting

This website, including the chat assistant, is hosted on Google Cloud and Scaleway. We configure our services to keep data processing to a minimum.

To deliver the pages, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as your IP address and the page requested. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

03Cookies and Google Analytics

Google Analytics is the only service on this website that uses cookies. We use it to understand which pages are useful. It runs only if you select Accept in the cookie banner. Until then, no analytics script is loaded and no data is sent to Google.

  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
  • Settings: IP anonymisation, no Google Signals, no advertising features and no ad personalisation.
  • Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID>, which tell visits apart, stored for up to two years.
  • Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
  • Transfers: Google may process the data outside the EU, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops and its cookies are removed. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, so we do not ask again on every visit. It contains no identifier. Apart from Google Analytics after your consent, all fonts, scripts and images are served from this website itself.

04The Mossy assistant

The assistant on the home page is part of this website. What you type is processed by an AI model so that the assistant can answer. Conversations are stored so our engineers can follow up on your request, and are kept only as long as that requires. If you share contact details in the chat, we use them only to reply to you. Please do not share confidential information in the chat.

05Contacting us

If you write to us by email, we use your message and contact details only to reply and to follow up on your request.

To schedule a call, the website links to Calendly. When you follow that link, you leave this website, and Calendly's own privacy policy applies to the details you enter there.

06Data sharing

We never sell your data. To run this website we use service providers that process data only on our behalf: hosting, the AI model behind the chat assistant, the internal messaging tool in which chat conversations are kept, and Google Analytics, only after your consent.

07Our products

Our open-source products, Mossy, EtchMem and Pact, have their own websites. Their data handling is described there.

Data we process in client projects is governed by the contract with each client and, where needed, a data processing agreement.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you,
  • have it corrected or deleted,
  • restrict or object to its processing,
  • receive it in a portable format,
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
